SHAMROCK ACRES |
Welcome!
You are invited to take this life long journey with me as I continue to explore the wondrous mysteries of this planet we call home. We will be focusing on some the millions of connections, both large and small, between animal, insect and micro-organisms, as they compete for and sometimes share the basics of life, food, water and shelter.
This blog is about the connections of all living species and the importance of those connections.

There is nothing wasteful about Mother Nature. Every aspect of creation has a purpose, no matter how insignificant it is to us, whether we like it or not or even understand it or not.

Why I write This Now
This is a journal and a compilation of the many journeys I have taken and continue to take in my explorations of the many intricate and wonder-full aspects of the Web Of Life. The Web of Life is sometimes referred to as The Circle of Life or The Food Chain. One way of looking at the Web Of Life is to see that it explains how the sun’s energy is passed on as food/fuel for all earth’s living species including humans, animals, plants, insects and micro-organisms. All species on this planet are connected because they all need sun (food + energy), water and oxygen. This interconnection and interdependence is responsible for the glorious plethora of life’s manifestations. This blog has given me the opportunity to explore and share the small and large wonders of our unique and miraculous planet.
